Sending

Open Vupti on both iPhones and keep it on screen. Wi-Fi has to be on, but you don't need to join a network, have internet or turn on Bluetooth.
The other phone shows up at the top with its nick. If it's the only one around, just flick. If there are a few, tap the one you want first.
Flick a card up. If they haven't trusted you yet, they get a quick Accept prompt first. Then it lands on their stack.

The top card goes first. Tap the stack to pick another photo or video, or press and hold to pick several. Swipe the stack sideways to send files.

Common questions

I don't see the other phone.

Both phones need Vupti open, Wi-Fi turned on and the latest version of Vupti, since an older version may not see a newer one. If Vupti says Local Network access is off, tap Open Settings and turn Local Network on. Keep the phones close to each other.

What is the colored ring?

While you send or receive, a two-color ring shows around the other phone at the top of both screens. If the colors match on both, you're connected to the right phone.

Why am I asked to accept?

When a phone you haven't trusted sends you something, Vupti asks first, and nothing comes in until you tap Accept. Tap "Always accept from …" if you trust that phone, and it won't ask again. To undo it, tap the gear at the bottom right, then Forget under Trusted phones. That forgets every trusted phone at once.

Where do received files go?

Into the inbox, the button at the bottom left. They stay there until you delete them, even after you save them to Photos: press and hold a row, then tap Delete. A batch shows as one row. Tap it to see the files, or tap the arrow at the end to save all its photos and videos to Photos. Other files get a share button instead.

Is there a size limit?

Receiving is always free. Sending is free up to 100 MB per flick, and a batch counts as one flick, so everything in it adds up. Going over that needs Vupti Pro, a one-time purchase. You can send up to 200 files at a time.

I bought Pro before. How do I get it back?

It usually comes back by itself. If it doesn't, tap the gear at the bottom right, then Vupti Pro, then Restore purchase. You'll need internet and the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Does Vupti need the internet?

Not for sending. Files go directly between the two iPhones. You only need internet to buy or restore Pro, or when a photo is only in iCloud and has to download first.
